The Chair of Structural Design at TU Dresden is organizing an interdisciplinary Summer School event, ‚Circular Design Challenge 2025‘ in August on the topic of Circular Design in the building industry. The final presentation and closing ceremony, on 21.08.2025 at 10:00, will be held at the COSMO science center and will be open to the public!
The event is an immersive 10-day program focused on circular design and sustainability. Hosted in the scenic setting of Pillnitz Palace, this program invites a rethinking of conventional building practices through the reuse of structural elements, hands-on experimentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Participants will explore theoretical foundations and engage in a real-world design challenge focused on material reuse and low-carbon construction.
Highlights include: Hands-on workshops, Expert lectures & guest speakers, Collaborative sessions, International participation, Extracurricular activities and so on. We are proud to collaborate with leading institutions and organizations committed to innovation, education, and sustainable design.
