Synthetic biology can be used to create incredible things: alternatives for fossil fuels, life saving medicines, tools to help bring humans to other planets. But where to begin a research project?
Well, right here! We are two groups of students participating in the world’s biggest competition for synthetic biology: the iGEM teams Hamburg and Dresden. Together with you we want to have a closer look at what synthetic biology actually is and how to use it in research. From finding a problem to getting first ideas how to solve it with tools from nature. No prior knowledge required!
